James E. Toney
A veteran of 35 state legislative sessions, Jet Toney has lobbied for various business, government, higher education, health care and manufacturing interests for more than two decades. Among his public affairs clients are the Georgia Foundation for Independent Colleges, the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, the Georgia Chemistry Council and the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition.
Jet served as director of the Georgia House of Representatives Public Information and Communications office during the 1980s and has consulted on more than 225 public relations/media campaigns at the state and local level. He is a conference presenter on media relations and political campaigns.
Statewide and regional professional organizations utilize Jet to develop governance structures and guide leadership development.
A former newspaper reporter and editor, Jet is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia where he studied Journalism.
